Carl started his driving career in the mid-70s as a stock car owner/driver on oval tracks and road circuits in the Pacific Northwest. Between 1979 and 1982, Carl served as crew chief and mechanic for the Trevor Boys NASCAR Winston West team. In 2008, Carl became an owner/rider for Team Hurricane Honda, racing and setting World Records on 175cc and 250cc motorcycles on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Since 2009, he’s also been racing his 174 R5S class Hayabusa powered GT roadster with one win and five, top-10 finishes.
